What We Believe

Why does Gallatin Valley Church exist?

Jesus gave His church her mission statement a couple thousand years ago… and it hasn’t changed.

“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
- Matthew 28-19-20

Jesus also told us that the greatest commandments in all of scriptures were these;

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
- Matthew 22:37-40

That’s what it’s all about, that’s why The Church of Jesus Christ exists, and it’s why Gallatin Valley Church exists.

It all comes down to just a few things:

  • Love God

  • Love People

  • Make Disciples

How do we do these things?

We desire to live out the model of an Acts 2 church:

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”
- Acts 2:42

  • We are devoted to the teaching of the Scriptures.

  • We devoted to growing close to one another in Fellowship.

  • We are devoted to Communion with Jesus.

  • We are devoted to lives of Prayer.

As part of the Church across the world, we also desire to reflect the world mission of Jesus:

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” - Acts 1:8

We are all called to be witnesses for the gospel of Jesus. This starts in our homes, our cities, our countries… and the mission of Jesus Christ continues as we reach out to the furthest corners of the world!
